The Pune Agri Hackathon 2025 concluded on a high note, marking a significant milestone in promoting innovation and technology in the agricultural sector. Held on June 1, 2, and 3, the event brought together young minds, seasoned experts, and industry leaders under one roof to reimagine the future of farming.
A total of 550 idea submissions were received from across the country, covering critical themes such as:

1. Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture sector
2. Soil/water conservation, Irrigation, Soil health management
3. Farm Mechanization
4. Fertigation and Disease/pest management
5. Energy
6. Post Harvest Technology and Waste Management
7. Agri. Economics, Market linkages
8. Any Other Agri Innovation

After multiple levels of screening and mentoring, 160 entries were shortlisted to present at the final round. Out of these, 16 solutions were declared winners, standing out for their originality, practicality, and potential for impact.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including:

  • Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra
  • Mr. Ajit Pawar, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra
  • Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon'ble Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India

The event also featured a three-day exhibition where participants displayed their prototypes and solutions to the juries, visitors, agri entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, industry professionals, investors, and students.

This hackathon not only recognized and rewarded groundbreaking ideas but also laid the foundation for future mentorship, incubation, and funding opportunities.
